It is important to note that TREDIS is designed for multi-modal planning, so that it can cover all air, marine, rail and land modes of transport. However, even single mode studies commonly take advantage of the multi-modal elements of TREDIS, by considering impacts on access to (and use of) intermodal facilities and services.
