Subscription Service. TREDIS, the Transportation Economic Development Impact System, is offered as a web-based analysis system that is provided to users on a subscription basis for six month or annual time periods. The subscription provides for continued use covering a given geographic area (or any part of it) during the designated period. The subscription price depends on the number of counties included in the geographic area. The six month period is generally useful for study of a single project or program, while the renewable annual subscription provides agencies with an ongoing capability to use the system for many different projects.

Redefining Study Areas. If the study area includes multiple counties, then the user is entitled to designate or define counties or groups of counties as sub-areas for analysis. The system has no fixed limit on the number of sub-areas that can be designated. It also allows users to redefine sub-areas as desired for different studies or applications as often as desired, at no additional cost.

Multiple Users. TREDIS is a web-based system which can be accessed by multiple users at different locations. That makes it ideal for collaborations involving staff located in different offices, as well as collaborations between government, university and private organizations. The system incorporates tiered access permissions to facilitate collaboration and help separate different studies or projects. There is no additional cost for adding users located inside or outside of your organization.

Integration with Other Software.  TREDIS utilizes a flexible, modular framework that allows the entire system or selective modules to be used together with other transportation, economic or land use analysis systems.  In addition, TREDIS modules can be fully integrated within broader analysis systems and customized products offered by other firms.  More info on integration with other software.
