Topics include: Electric and High-efficiency Vehicles (coupled with Road User Charge), Ride-sharing (Uber, Lyft, Taxi)
Using different classes of passenger vehicles to represent technology advances in the fleet mix. We’ll explore the effect of more people using ride-share services.
TREDAIR is the newest addition to the TREDIS suite of products. It represents a simple and cost-effective way to estimate the economic contribution of small airports while leveraging the knowledge of airport staff.
TREDAIR determines basic economic impacts, which are based on regional averages of jobs, labor income, and output. These insights can effectively communicate how an airport makes an economic contribution to the community, especially in between aviation systems plan updates.
A single airport will serve as a core example as we demonstrate how to run a TREDAIR analysis.
Topics to be discussed: Required inputs, sources of information, and how to estimate the economic contribution of on-airport employment and visitor spending to the regional economy.
