What is TREDTransit?

Developed in conjunction with the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), the TREDTransitTM Calculator simply and easily assesses the economic impacts of your transit agency's capital and operation budgets.

TREDTransit is designed using simple data entry of your agency's annual budget information that is compatible with what agencies report annually to the National Transit Database (NTD). It provides both tabular and graphic results are provided to show impacts of your agency’s operations and capital expenditures on the larger area economy.

Are you an APTA member? APTA members may use the tool at no additional cost by registering (click here).  Also available to APTA members is a free guidebook on how to communicate economic impacts to a wider audience.  The guide is available by clicking here.
